![]() Right now we have one user seat for AutoCAD electrical, and I haven't used it in two years. I loved it all and thought it could be the greatest design tool we ever got our hands on. ![]() The wire by wire build guides, predrilled backplanes, easy wire label exports, everything. I loved how you can import AML files and script terminal blocks associated with IO point types and develop your work flows. They just didn't see the cost/benefit in it since we aren't doing the volume, and we can outsource the panel build for cheaper than we can build it ourselves with in-house electricians. I went down the eplan road and fought hard to get it. Most of our projects lately haven't required new panels, so we're doing 2 or 3 panels a year for the past few years. We've outsourced our panel building completely, this has been a good decision for us so far because we simply don't build as many lately. ![]() Please click "report" on spam Related sub-reddits: (*) At mods' discretion, certain self-promotion submissions from people who contribute to this sub in other ways may be allowed and tagged with the "Self-promo" flair

I can also adjust my photos for duration, angle, color and other settings. Your choice of transitions between photos and video. I, unfortunately, could not scrub through a transition frame by frame or by dragging the timeline indicator. That transition's icon will show up between your photos. I would also liked to have been able to add a drop shadow from within FotoMagico but text can always be added and adjusted once in Final Cut or AE.Īdding transitions was no trouble at all, you highlight the photo and then click and adjust any of the several transition choices Boinx offers. That is a huge size for any text yet 'Live Long and Prosper' looks closer to a size 22. Notice that the text box says the size is 144. Though you can add text to your slideshow I found that while color changes were easy to do by highlighting the text and making changes in the color wheel, adjusting the size of the text seemed off. Notice the multiple timeline layers for music, narration and sound effects. In addition, both narration and foley effects can be placed in the slideshow as well. Music was easily trimmed or moved around the Boinx timeline. ![]() Video clips can be interspersed within the slide show and FotoMagico had no problems when playing back a full 1920x1080 HD clip.Ī simple drag and drop was all that was needed.Ĭhoosing music was done just as simply, by clicking on the music icon which then opens up your iTunes, iLife or other music library. You can change the order in whichever way you want. ![]() When opened you click on the photos that you have stored in any of your photo applications whether they be from Aperture, iPhoto, or Lightroom.ĭragging over the photos you wish to use to create a slideshow is easy. You open it up from you applications folder or from the dock if you chose to bring it there. Their different version numbers are nothing to be concerned about.īoinx's FotoMagico is unique in that it is its own application. The reason for this is that FotoMagico and FxFactory are two separated products, which work together. ![]() Interestingly enough however, is that should you download the current FotoMagico from the Boinx website, it says you are downloading version 3.5, yet when opened in FX Factory, it lists it as version 1.2. As the narration told the story, so did his use of photographs.įor many editors manipulating photos has been successfully, albeit, time consumingly done by keyframing motion and scale parameters.īoinx has recently released its FotoMagico software application that is compatible with both Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express and Adobe After Effects users which allow you to easily and quickly create your own slideshows containing text, music, transitions and other photo animations. Ken Burns made his name famous by manipulating old photographs to tell a story, panning them this way and that, zooming in or out. Using photos as part of many video projects has long been a common thing to do. 1/1/2024 0 Comments Airmail 5 freeWL2K Catalog Support (WX and Help bulletins) Packet connection scripting for node/digi navigation HTML/CSS Forms creation & content-only transportīuilt-in message editing & administration Single-user, Multi-user/multi-account, Routine, Maritime, EmComm Windows 8 & up Fast CPU needed for soundcard modes. Airmail had this feature, got rid of it, and refused to put it back. Apple Mail is great with this feature that it automatically detects which direction you want to delete messages in the queue. One such feature is smart direction email deletion. They have taken away some great product features, and when users complained about the deletion on their forums, have failed to put them back. Not very nice people to deal with when you ask questions and suggest enhancements. I have been a beta tester of theirs for several years and I was really disgusted with the attitude of their developers. For several years since its launch, the developers have been treating their users like beta testers more than supplying a finished product. Update 2: Airmail also says it is not using system push notifications of CloudKit or other operating system features, but its own server infrastructure.Īirmail has always been a horrible, buggy email client. We do understand users frustration, the decision was made to keep the business sustainable as we face increasing backend service expenses.Ĭustomers who purchased the app in the last 4 months will be granted a grace period of premium subscription up to 4 months (depending on the purchase date). His full response follows:Īirmail for iOS is now free and new users can use the app with a single account and no push notifications.Ĭustomers who purchased the app can still have access to multiple accounts but not push notifications which, is a side service of the app and is not preventing the use of the app's core functionality. Update: In a statement provided to MacRumors, Airmail developer Leonardo Chiantini said the change was made due to "increasing backend service expenses" and argued that making push notifications a subscriber-only feature does not affect the app's core functionality.Ĭhiantini added that existing users will continue to have access to multiple email accounts. In the meantime, other popular third-party email apps for iOS include Microsoft Outlook, Spark, Polymail, and Canary Mail.īloop also recently raised the price of Airmail for Mac from $9.99 to $26.99. If you swipe from the left, more options emerge, including access to folders for to-do lists, snoozed emails, and attachments. The app has a straightforward, minimalistic design with a single unified "All Inboxes" view for quick email management. ![]() ![]() Marcel JAt face value, the change appears to violate Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, which state "if you are changing your existing app to a subscription-based business model, you should not take away the primary functionality existing users have already paid for." We've reached out to Airmail and Apple for comment.Īirmail for iOS won an Apple Design Award at WWDC 2017. Paul Peelen July 15, Airmail now requires a subscription without any prior notification and from an app I’ve already paid for? What are you thinking? Bye bye Airmail! #airmail IAP and subscriptions should be used for new func not existing. Especially when the feature itself didnt really work well from the beginning. In my opinion it is bad practice to suddenly remove a feature and make it paid one (on an paid app). You lost me.Īnd so came an end to using #Airmail. Just tried it out and it feels great!Īnd for the record, I would drop money for new features but not for that. #airmail if it bothers you that email client you paid for wants you to pay subscription for *existing* features, try. Push notifications now require a subscription. 1/1/2024 0 Comments Monopoly man picture![]() There’s just one issue: He never had a monocle. ![]() Monopoly fans loved him (although we’d take their judgement with a grain of salt, since they actually like Monopoly), so Parker Brothers started putting Rich Uncle Pennybags on the front of the game. His first appearance was in 1936, when he began showing up on the Chance and Community Chest cards. Originally, his name was just Rich Uncle, and he was featured in several Parker Brothers games aside from Monopoly. His name, by the way, was Rich Uncle Pennybags until 1999, because whoever named him obviously used up all their creativity deciding that a thimble and a dog could own property. Watch the video below to see what movie everyone is (probably) trying to forget. You should really go rent that movie right now, because… Remember that family comedy from the ’90s that starred Sinbad as a genie? You might even remember a specific scene where he used his magic to help a kid become popular at school. Sinbad never played a genie in a ’90s movie. They’re pretty sure that they spelled their names right, and they’ll thank you to stop correcting them. Berenstain doesn’t exist.īut tell that to Stan and Jan Berenstain, the married couple who created the popular grizzlies. The point is that if you tell a few of your friends about this discrepancy, they’ll never stop arguing with you. Somehow the universes collided, and we all remember the Berenstein spelling, but all of the artifacts of the other universe stayed in ours. According to the theory, our universe diverged from another in one crucial way: There’s a children’s book series in our universe called “Berenstein Bears,” but in the parallel universe, it’s spelled “Berenstain Bears.” There’s actually a popular internet conspiracy theory that claims that we’re living in a parallel universe. It’s the “Berenstain Bears,” not the “Berenstein Bears.” Still, some people swear that they remember his funeral from decades earlier-despite clear evidence to the contrary.Ĭertain lies become entangled in our culture to an incredible degree. ![]() Plus that whole “first black president of South Africa” thing is kind of a big deal. President Barack Obama spoke at his funeral, which he clearly wouldn’t have been able to do had Mandela died in the ’80s. Of course, Nelson Mandela didn’t actually die in the 1980s he survived his imprisonment, then became the first black president of South Africa, eventually dying of old age in 2013. If you’re old enough, you can probably remember a few of the moments from his funeral. It’s named for Nelson Mandela, the icon of racial equality who tragically died in prison in the 1980s. |
